10 of the best trending phones of week 33

Week 27 brought in plenty of new phones, simply none of them proved exciting enough that would shake the top three.

The Samsung korea Galaxy A50 keeps its escort ahead of the Galaxy A70 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.

The first of the brand new names comes in fourth – of the Xiaomi Mi CC9e, bumped our stablemate Redmi K20 Pro based on fifth.

Samsung Galaxy A30 climbed up to sixth, while the Mi 9T lost two spots and is at this point sitting in seventh.

Eight and ninth go to the Good samsung Galaxy M40 and Galaxy A20 – the two phones were taken away from by four positions last week, however opposing performances this week brought these products together.

To be able to tenth we have another newly published phone – the Xiaomi Mi CC9. Interestingly enough the CC9 was sitting in ninth last week, even though actually lost popularity after purchasing official. Perhaps it didn’t quite live up to your expectations.

The ZTE nubia X 5G was the strictly phone to drop out, leaving company with just two makers documented in top 10 – Xiaomi and Clever having 5 phones apiece.

macOS Catalina and iOS 13 might use Face ID and Touch ID to sign onto iCloud

Apple appears to be testing out a new way for users to log onto iCloud.com with its next operating systems, according to 9to5Mac. The site reports that users who have installed the beta for iOS 13, iPadOS 13, and macOS Catalina can sign onto their accounts using Face ID and Touch ID, on their devices.

Beta users who visit beta.icloud.com either on their beta-equipped device or on their desktop are greeted with a popup asking if the user would like to use either of those systems, and then proceeds to log them in, without requiring two-factor authentication. It seems as though it would be a convenient and logical step for the company, given that you can already unlock your devices and make purchases with Apple Pay using either system.

Watch the first trailer for Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan

Disney released the first trailer for its upcoming live-action version of Mulan during today’s Women’s World Cup final, showing off a sweeping adventure flick set in China’s Han dynasty. Directed by Niki Caro (Whale Rider) and starring Yifei Liu in the lead role, the film will join the ranks of the studio’s other animation-to-live-action efforts when it’s released next March.

Yifei plays Hua Mulan, the daughter of Hua Zhou (played by Tzi Ma), a strict war veteran. When he’s recalled to military service to fend off a Hun invasion, Mulan disguises herself as a man to take his place in the Imperial army.

The film also stars Donnie Yen (Rogue One) as Commander Tung, Yoson An as Cheng Honghui, Gong Li (who plays Xianniang, a character not…

WhatsDirect — Text people without adding them to your contacts

my first thought was , if they’re using one of those DMCA ridden unofficial whatsapp APIs to accomplish this, it’s only good for educational purposes but not as a product but after using the product I realized it’s just a URL to whatsapp.com/send?phone=xx lol . It works on phone too, simply opens the app. What I am not sure of is if it’s worth it to open a website to type in a phone number and then start a chat instead of creating a contact. In any case it’s a smart use and the least amount of code for a PH launch 🙂

Weekly poll: Xiaomi Mi CC9 coupled with CC9e, are they worth your money?

Xiaomi introduced my selfie-focused CC series this week using two new phones. But how exactly do they compare to the existing premium Mi 9 line, the new Redmi K20 powerhouses and even the old standby, finally the Redmi Note 7?

The Xiaomi Mi CC9 is a premium mid-ranger features a 6. 39” Super AMOLED lcd monitor (1080p+) with a teardrop notch but an in-display fingerprint reader. This is powered by a Snapdragon 710 chip-set and a 4, 030mAh battery while using 18W fast charging.

The rear camera is actually a triple-shooter with a 48MP main cams, 8MP ultra wide-angle cam together with 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera has a 32MP sensor.

Weekly poll: Xiaomi Mi CC9 and CC9e, is it worth your money?

When compared to the Redmi K20 , there’s no telephoto could be the and the selfie cam is in the best notch instead of on a pop-up. The very K20 also uses the more Snapdragon 730 chipset. Compared to the Redmi Note seven (or 7 Pro in India), you get an AMOLED screen instead of LCD, plus the extremista wide camera. We’re comparing our own CC9 to Redmis as the Una 9 phones are flagships from a different category than the CC cell phone handsets.

Observe that the Mi CC9 is 10% cheaper than the Redmi K20 for a similar RAM/storage (6/64GB), but 20% more than the Redmi 7 Pro by means of 128GB storage.

This model will be also available as you move the Mi CC9 Meitu edition, and this also features more RAM and car port (8/256GB), plus some camera tweaks from the Meitu team. As you can presume, this is the highest-priced CC9 model.

Xiaomi Mí misma CC9

The Xiaomi Mi CC9e shrinks the screen to 6. 01” and drops the resolution in order to really 720p+ (it’s still a Super AMOLED, though). Processing power comes from the Snapdragon 665 chipset, which may note be in the form of fast as the 660 it was meant to replace. Both CC phones have a microSD card slot, an absolute 3. 5mm jack and FM radio, unlike the Mi 9 pattern. The Redmi K20 has the 3rd. 5mm jack, but it lacks the slot.

The camera department on the CC9e is virtually identical to have any sibling, save for the ability to spray 720p @ 960fps slow-motion shoots. You even get the same special, 030mAh battery with 18W getting (despite the phone being smaller).

The CC9e doesn’t have a direct competitor in the Una and Redmi lines. The Mí misma 9 SE is higher end (1080p+ screen, S712 chipset, tele cam), the Redmi 7 is too decrease on the totem pole.

Weekly poll: Xiaomi Conmigo CC9 and CC9e, are they price tag your money?

The Xiaomi Mi CC9e costs almost nearly everything the Redmi 7 Pro (it’s about 13% cheaper), which is quite vertical for a phone with a 720p screen area. It can’t claim a resolution rewards in the camera department either, several use a 48MP primary sensor. The type of Redmi 7, while not nearly the way capable, is a good deal more affordable.
